The game was delayed in August of 2020 to an unspecified date, and things have been pretty quiet since then, outside of a brief development update given in the summer of 2021. Sports Story was revealed at the end of 2019, originally aiming for a 2020 launch. The end of the trailer reveals that Sports Story will hit the Nintendo Switch next month. Tennis, fishing, golfing, BMX, volleyball, and kickball are all seen in the trailer, and there are even more that have yet to be revealed.
